From origins in a modest stone house in the famed Douro Valley, generations of grape growers, winemakers and vintners are the roots of Somar Family Vineyards. Today, we continue the family tradition in southern Oregon, carrying on our century old passion for growing grapes and crafting truly remarkable wines.

With vineyards on Griffin Creek Road and West Main Street, we're highly in tune with the local terroir. All fourteen of our varietals are estate grown with all work done by hand, providing our winemakers with consistently premium grapes.
Tastings in historic downtown Jacksonville
Located in the original Telephone Exchange Building, the tasting room is an inviting spot to enjoy a flight of our current releases or simply a glass of your favorite. Small bites are offered as well.
